If an elector votes in a primary election, he or she may vote in a subsequent primary runoff election only if he or she voted in the primary election of the same political party for which the runoff election is being held.
Here are some questions and answers to help understand the new rules regarding the runoff election on September 26.
Q: I voted Democrat in the August 15th Primary. Can I vote in the runoff?
Q: I did not vote in the August 15th Primary. Can I vote in the runoff?
Q: I voted Republican in the August 15th Primary. Can I vote in the runoff?
